Snake Blends

I remember a long time ago with my Nokia cell phone, feeling pretty good about myself that I had a cell phone and playing Snake. Snake was really awesome to play; it was a simple game that kept me occupied for a long time. All it involved was a square that kept growing after eating another square.

Snake also helped me learn to take things one pixel at a time while trying to think of a strategy to not eat a part of my body—I'm talking about Snake, not myself. I like creating designs inspired by nostalgia because it makes me feel good. It reminds me of the days when a pixel on a phone grew when you ate something, and how it made me feel peaceful and at ease.

Nowadays with so many things vying for our attention that are complicated and complex. Sometimes, I truly miss simpler days.

Well, anyway, enough about Snake and nostalgia. This was fun using blends in Adobe Illustrator, setting up different points and blends to make it look like it's all part of one continuous Snake.
